David has a background in computer systems analysis, design and management. Backpacking through south east Asia and Africa in the late '70's he spent 6 years as a volunteer in Kenya establishing a computer education project an an orphanage/school in Nairobi. On his return to Australia he chose to pursue studies in Natural Therapies in Adelaide, SA, where he practised for several years, before moving to Melbourne. He obtained a B.F.E.T. (Bach. Further Education and Training) from the University of Southern Queensland, and enjoys teaching migrants English. He has retired from full time professional naturopathic practice, but continues to consult with restricted hours at his clinic in Maribyrnong, Victoria.
